WHY LL.M?

The abbreviation LL.M is derived from Latin word ‘Legum Magister‘. Generally, LL.M means Masters in Law and is pursued after the completion of LL.B (Bachelors in Law). Previously LL.M was pursued only by those students who wanted to make their career in Academics but now a days many students are pursuing LL.M for getting in-depth knowledge of a particular subject by opting it as a specialization course. Students willing to join litigation are also pursing LL.M to get deep knowledge of criminal law, which will eventually help them in understanding and analyzing the cases better. LL.M can be useful in research institutes as well because it will train you in research, reading, and writing. Many top National Law Universities also provide placement opportunities after LL.M.

Some of the major LL.M Entrance Exams in India are CLAT LL.M, AILET LL.M, DU LL.M and ILICAT. See the various courses offered by Mankavit Law Academy for the preparation of various LL.M Entrance Exams.
